The Middle School Messenger is a cross body bag, has two pockets inside and a simple flap. It’s great for young girls or a day of shopping. Final dimensions of bag are 9″x9″ and has a 50″ strap. You can reduce the strap length for your younger people if necessary. This pattern would be great for newer sewers.
Materials necessary:
3/4 yard of fabric 1
1 fat quarter of fabric 2
1/2 yard of fabric 3
1/2 yard of plain white or light solid color flannel for interfacing.
